For Five Years

For five years,
You taught me patience,
You taught me waiting,
You taught me persistence.

For five years,
You taught me calm,
You taught me courage,
You taught me relentlessness.

For five years,
You taught me strength,
You taught me trust,
You taught me hope,

For five years,
I held on to the one
Who has every capacity
To handle battles of life.

Now it's time,
The battle is over,
The siege is over,
The war is over,
The trials is over,
The waiting is over.

Now it's time,
After five beautiful years
Of holding on to manifestation
For me to show you
All the love
I have preserved for you.
Which I have spent time
To culture over and over again.

Now you are finally here,
I can hold you
And wrap you in my arms
Cause the wait is over.

For five years,
I closed the door
On hopelessness and disappointment
Finally my faith is rewarded.

Thank you Jesus
For the beautiful princess
You finally sent down to earth
At your own appointed time.

Poetry:The Altar of Matrimony

I have waited,  I have really waited For many days and nights Through many sunrise and sunsets  That I have lost pace with. I have always wondered And found myself lost In the world of my thoughts I have been shamed I have been mocked I have been chided All because I chose To wait for you And dance to the rhythm That we have been instructed. This day Seemed never to arrive Out of impatience People have broken themselves Into different souls And meshed with different bodies. I am so proud I waited for you I am so proud I am not a coward For pinning values on you That I refuse myself. This night We will teach ourselves The rhythm of love And move at our own pace Tonight I see not used good But a beautiful treasure. I see not an art in a hurry to act but an art whose beauty ages  like a fine wine. Ton...
