Poetry:The Altar of Matrimony

I have waited, I have really waited
For many days and nights
Through many sunrise and sunsets
That I have lost pace with.

I have always wondered
And found myself lost
In the world of my thoughts

I have been shamed
I have been mocked
I have been chided
All because I chose
To wait for you
And dance to the rhythm
That we have been instructed.

This day
Seemed never to arrive
Out of impatience
People have broken themselves
Into different souls
And meshed with different bodies.

I am so proud
I waited for you
I am so proud
I am not a coward
For pinning values on you
That I refuse myself.

This night
We will teach ourselves
The rhythm of love
And move at our own pace
Tonight I see not used good
But a beautiful treasure.

I see not an art
in a hurry to act
but an art
whose beauty ages
 like a fine wine.

Tonight
 the moon will standstill
 to gaze upon your beauty
and the navel of your soul
 because tonight
 I will explore your beauty
 that has been perfected
 for the two of us
 to become one
 at the ripe hour
 that was formed
 on the altar of matrimony.

Happy Birthday: An Embodiment of the Hidden Life

The day the history of this great gift begun, was a beautiful Monday full of great promise; Over two decades ago. This grand masterpiece! Made a thunderous entrance into his world and with him came a bust of hope and sunshine. Let me tell you the story, Of this young and handsome chap, He is a treasure that needs no pressure; A royalty fearfully and wonderfully packaged, Far from the fiery darts of the enemies. Amidst the rage and violent rumbling  of tempestuous seas, To the roaring turbulence of the storms of life, I consider myself a mirror image of a Divine love; A love so kind and thoughtful, Tender and full of grace and mercy. Full of reassurance, compassion and overwhelmingly soothing It makes me ask myself who I am That His mind is so full of me. I begun to ponder at the wonder Of this great and dumbfounding love Whose passion is deep and astoundingly amazing.   I am light; a walking reflection and ref...
