Who is Semirah?

i am a very shy person but this doesn't seem true considering the fact that mostly i find myself in front of the camera. i get inspired by nature.

How was it like growing up?

Oh growing up was fun,I used to play football with my brothers as I didn’t have any sister and I constantly wished I was a boy. And those times they refused to let me play with them ,I write.I just start writing anything ,I remember my lil bro will read some and ask me to finish them cause I never used to finish my stories

You mentioned being an Actor, TV Presenter, Content developer/Producer and a creative writer. How have you been able to juggle and balance all these responsibilities?

Doing what you love is key no matter the stress that comes with it, you find strength because it’s what you want to do

You should see me in my closet ... I think I do better there than in front of camera. I just ask myself the worst that could happen and because its what I love to do, I damn all consequences my shyness included .

When you go out daily, I believe you see yourself as a bit of a celebrity am I right?

You are wrong ...I never see myself as such. What’s a celebrity?😁When I started to appear on TV I didn’t see it as a big deal, not until friends and families would call and say they watched my programme or a movie I featured in.

Does that not put a whole lot of pressure on you to do things differently?

I didn’t think It was a big deal. I have had people send me DM's both on Instagram and face book asking for help. Some ask for money and some ask how they can venture into entertainment. Apart from the money part ,I don’t think the pressure it’s too much for me to handle.

For how long have you been doing all these?

       It’s been 8 years

I discovered recently that you become a sort of relationship expert. What made you develop interest in such?

No one is an expert when it comes to relationship.

Was it borne from personal experiences or pure passion to help people with relationship issues?

I am a volunteer at the mentally aware Nigeria initiative. I discovered that most depressed people are in that state because of an unhealthy relationship so I told myself I would in my own little way bring sanity back to the society through my write ups which touches issues that affect most couples I hope I touch One or two lives.

What fuelled your passion for all these area of interests of yours?

I noticed have always had a flare for all am doing now,and a lot of people believe in me...
the fear of letting them down keeps me going.I think it’s disrespectful to stop trying when those who believe in you are still hailing you.

How do you  get yourself inspired?

     Nature inspires me

She quickly turned off the gas cooker and helped Seyi remove her trouser as she called on top of her voice to Mr Cole, who was hearing all that was going on but showed no interest. Mr Cole staggered into the kitchen ‘what is it? Why you shouting my name like they are chasing you?’ he asked, obviously drunk. ‘Hot oil poured on your daughter’s thighs and that’s all you can say?’ she asked as she poured cool water on Seyi’s thighs. ‘So what do you now want me to do?’ he asked annoyingly ‘better take her to the hospital and don’t disturb me’ he said and turned around to leave. ‘Ha is that all you have to say?’ Mrs Cole was fed up of her husband’s lackadaisical attitude. She lifted Seyi up from the floor and supported her as they walked out of the kitchen to the main door. She shouted on top of her voice ‘Bimbo b
