Wake Up, Your Dreams Won't Wait Forever

What happens to a dream deferred, does it dry up like a raisin in the sun
                                                            - Langston  Hughes

What is going on with you? why have you allowed yourself to believe that the deposit in you will always wait for you?  I look at you and it pains me because you have greatly failed to realize that you are an untapped resource full of potentials.
The world is desperately waiting for your light to shine and when you decide to mask it, you are condemning those your light is supposed to illuminate their path to a world of darkness.

Your dreams and aspirations are time bound and it is the source that fills you with life and fuels your existence with purpose. Without dreams, your life will be filled with hopelessness and emptiness.Don't believe the lies and the negative labels that have mixed with your mind; flush out the poison and renew your mind with positivism.

Your existence is made for more so don't give less in return because the world is waiting for your impact in her. If you are not in this world, there will be a void and your presence in this existence fills her with great optimism. Let your dreams set sail and never look back because you were not created just to make up the population; not exist but to live so do just that cause the world is waiting for your deposits to have expression and your dreams to come true.

My Experience With Concussion (25/11/18)

Last night I found myself dazed, bruised, disillusioned and ultimately concussed after I had a supposed collision with a striker on the football field which I had no recollection of. The events that succeeded the occurrence is such which was grey and mind boggling as I tried to reconcile what really happened to me. I found myself on the sideline without knowing when and how I found myself there with people asking if I knew what really happened to me and I kept telling them I didn't know.... I kept wondering what could have happened to me until I realized  I was manifesting the symptoms of a concussion without the memory of it. The very same one that almost made Petr Cech lose his life playing for Chelsea against Reading in 2005 when an opposing player; Kevin Hunt clashed into his head and ever since has seen him wearing a head mask to protect himself as well as the recent case of concussion suffered by the loaned out Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius in the champion...

POETRY: The dilemma of a confused lover

I wonder why I gave room to foolishness When wisdom was knocking on my door. I gave you my very all Until I had nothing more to hold on to. I wonder why I didn't know how   To fully express the emotions  Cluttered in the aorta of my valve When a simple hi would have sufficed. I was falling head over heels When I should have stood tall Now I am all broken, sad and crushed beyond recognition. How could I ever forget The reflection of you Which was carved in my mind The first time I set my eyes On your beautiful face. The truth I held on to Was that you will be the one I have always dreamt about Every passing moment. Whose presence will fill me With endless joy and happiness. We started out as friends, My heart wanted more, But my mouth kept mute, I refused to listen  To the notes of love Banging at the doorstep of my heart. I wanted to speak to you, Div...

Happy birthday to a City Set on The Hill...

When I ponder on this season, I am constantly reminded of the reason I was willed into being in the first place. My boast is in Yahweh; the one who creatively designed and made me His masterpiece! He is the one who put an extra in my ordinary and rather than ruminate and wallow in drowsiness, He positioned me for Dominion. Who am I? That Yahweh chose me. He didn't only give me breath, He also placed His mark upon my head! In every changing times and season of life. I'm grateful for the presence of the one who never changes. His presence is the reason I am not absent! It is Him I move, I live and have my being! How do I begin to pay the price? for the innumerable love I enjoy, if I live a thousand years, I can not come close to scratching the surface of appreciation for all He has done. When I was busy drowning in the web of addiction, He pulled me out by the power of His redemption! When I was lost in lusts and immorality, He searched and rescued me, cleansed me and positioned ...
