Why is your scar

the only thing

you see?

Even though

your heart is battered

and left for shatter,

all I see is perfection.

Let me take you

on a journey

of self discovery.

Let me show you

all you have failed

to see in yourself.

You are a beautiful diamond

whose glitter is hidden

behind your scars

masked to blind you.

You think you are worthless

but you are a priceless royalty

to those who worth less.

Make me your navigator

to prevent your ship

From sinking.

Let me be your life saver

to rescue you from drowning.

Let me be your knight

to shield you from harm

Let me be the vessel

that will make you whole.

Let me be the medicine

that will give you healing.

‘My leg my leg’ Seyi who now was sitting on the floor cried. ‘Oh my God’ Mrs Cole exclaimed as she saw the oil stain on her daughter’s sky blue jean trousers.
